Academic Curriculum

Academic Curriculum

Manu Public School provides the three wings of any modern school system under a single roof.  The deep association that the students share with school, in such a short span of time is a matter of great pride for us. The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi and follows the curriculum laid down by NCERT and CBSE based on CCE pattern under the guidelines of National Curriculum Framework.

Pre-Primary Wing
In Pre-Primary the children learn in an informal atmosphere using play way methods under the supervision and guidance of trained and experienced teachers. The tiny tots are made comfortable by our trained staff. Modern furniture, specially designed rooms and sand area make learning more fun. The kids of Manu Public School are taught by play-way method keeping audio-visual-kinesthetic learners in mind.

Primary Wing
Since these are the most formative years of a child, we focus on individual attention through small & smart classes and individual counselling. We also try to inculcate the value of hard work and discipline at a very young age.
We also focus on English conversation and stage exposure at an early age of a child to ensure that our tiny tots bloom into confident individuals.

Senior Wing
For senior classes, we take education to a next level by maintaining excellent academic standards under the guidance of qualified and dedicated staff. Instead of emphasizing on rote learning, we encourage experiments, experience-based education and critical thinking.
The classrooms are equipped with digital technology that helps students to hone their English language skills and master other complex topics. Due emphasis is given to our moral values, customs, values, and culture. Furthermore, there are plenty of extracurricular activities for overall development of the child.

The School System

The House System
The school has four houses that depict the true Indian ethics. The four houses of the school are named on Color theme. These are as follows-

  • Red House
  • Blue House
  • Green House
  • Yellow House

These houses have various competitions to foster a spirit of willingness, self-esteem, and self-confidence. An investiture ceremony is held at the beginning of each year to honour the Head Boy and the Head Girl and captains and vice captains of the four houses.

The Mentor System
MPS appoints academic mentors who are there to see every individual’s continuous development and growth. They will also be a counsellor and a guide to each individual student.

The Prefectural System
In each house there are 5 prefects who monitor the discipline of the floors.

The Monitoring System
In each class and section there are monitors and class representatives who monitor the discipline and represent the class.

Clean India Drive

Youths are the medium of development, change and innovation in any country of the world at this point. Since things are changing so rapidly, we need energy, idea and activeness to achieve what should be. MPS believes in inculcating good values among students and so we also participate in Swachh Bharat Mission started by the Government to promote cleanliness and good sanitation among the students so that they learn its importance and promote it in their elders also. This will lead to a cleaner India eradicating hundreds of diseases.

Health Check Ups And Blood Donation Camps

Annual health check-up and blood donation camps are held within the school campus. A government dispensary is at 100 meters distance and hospitals are located within a distance of 2 KMs. MPS provides clean, safe, and secure environment. RO drinking water is available at all times. In campus, medical room and 247 medical facilities are also there.

Music and Dance

Today, children are spending less time playing physically and spending more time sitting in front of PCs and televisions. Through Music and Dance students can express their feelings of joy or excitement. The school offers regular music and dance classes with a safe and nurturing environment to learn, as well as opportunities to share their interests in different types of music
